Executive Producer

The Role

As Mooncolony continues to gain and work with globally-recognised game studios, the need for exceptional business relations continues to grow. That’s why an exciting new position has opened up for a self driven and influential Executive Producer (EP) to join our core team.

As an EP your role is to develop new business opportunities and new client relations across the video game industry. You will foster existing client relations and repeat business, as well as collaborate with key staff in the successful delivery of bid packages. The EP position will also play a key role in the delivery of content to our clients, ensuring we meet their expectations in terms of quality and overall success. 

You will work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders including our Creative Director, Project Managers, and Talent and Marketing Managers to generate positive growth and business opportunities that enhance the strong portfolio and reputation of the studio.

This is a new role to the business so you will need to bring an entrepreneurial spirit and positive approach, whilst balancing the creative and business aspects of our studio. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Fostering client relationships before, during and after a pitch or project, handling ongoing communication as necessary.
  • Working with the Creative Director to develop growth strategy and planning.
  • Working with our Marketing Manager on new business materials.
  • Ensuring business enquiries receive prompt responses.
  • Leading pitches, working with the Creative Director and Art Directors on strategy and approach, with direct oversight and delivery of treatments and bids.
  • Bidding, budgeting and scheduling new projects with a high degree of accuracy through collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Contract T&Cs negotiation including payment terms and milestones.
  • Ensuring enquiries are tracked and CRM records are kept up to date.
  • Maintaining EP oversight, providing production support and problem solving on individual projects as required.
  • Ensuring client delivery expectations are managed and succeeded.
  • Helping to shape and continuously improve our production and new business processes.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proactive, motivational and entrepreneurial leadership, with a passion for games.
  • Creative thinking and problem solving capabilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills and impeccable attention to detail
  • 7+ years of production experience within the games industry.
  • A proven ability and experience of managing client relationships.
  • Experience managing creative projects with both large and small budgets and with a global production team.
  • Demonstrable experience in sales, prospecting and lead generation.
  • Presentation skills. You’ll enjoy presenting the company to clients, in person, on video calls and in decks and emails.
  • An ability to be resourceful, solutions-driven, and highly organised.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • A calm, analytical and methodical in your approach, capable of delivering to short deadlines under pressure.
